Business and Operations

Lakeland School Corporation is committed to providing the community with updated and well-maintained facilities. We have a dedicated staff of maintenance and custodial personnel that keep our buildings and grounds safe and clean to enhance student learning.

The school corporation is comprised of seven buildings. They are Lakeland High School, Lakeland Middle School, Lima-Brighton Elementary, Parkside Elementary, Wolcott Mills Elementary, Technology Center and the Administration Office.

Updates have been made to all of our buildings and facilities on a regular basis including roofs, various HVAC upgrades, as well as new carpet and paint for all the classrooms and activity rooms throughout the buildings.  The outdoor facilities have also been upgraded over the course of the immediate past four years.

The Board of School Trustees takes great pride in ensuring that the facilities are sanitary and safe for all students, staff, and community.

The administration encourages the community to use all of Lakeland's facilities including the auxiliary gym, which is equipped with three basketball courts, walking track, weight room, wrestling room, and men’s and women’s locker rooms. The walking track is open to residents of the Lakeland School Corporation community daily with access to the weight room after 5:00p.m. Anyone who would like to use the facility can obtain a pass by stopping by the High School. The fee is $10 and you will receive a pass that is good for one year. We encourage our citizens to take advantage of the facility.
